Our Philosophy
Our aim is to meet the diverse and complex needs of each child as an individual and to provide a happy, warm, stimulating and safe environment in which children can develop physically, intellectually, socially and emotionally. We feel that it is important to promote an atmosphere in which parents feel involved, welcome, comfortable and assured.

Our approach is to combine an exceptional care with a first class education.
We have a policy of learning through play and a great deal is learnt through theme or project work using art, science, stories, songs, games and hands-on experiences such as outings, talks from visiting professionals and drama.
Activities are aimed at all levels so themes can vary from basic things such as colours or shapes to more complex issues such as the human senses and religious festivals. We also aim to work in partnership with each parent to ensure the provision of consistently high quality, non-discriminatory childcare which will meet each individual child and family needs.
It is important and vital that your child’s time at our nursery is worthwhile. This is down to our staff and their skill as nursery workers. Our staff are taught to understand and assess the stages that any child under supervision has attained. They are also qualified and experienced to assess each child’s level of understanding. A key factor is to observe the use of the child’s vocabulary, their actions and background knowledge of the child’s past experiences.
The time of a child’s life considered to be their formative years are between the ages of one to five. The foundations of learning are laid in these years (it is important to make learning fun and encourage each individual to explore and stretch their ability). We hope to develop a sense of confidence, along with a strong sense of security that will remain with every child throughout their adult life.
During the time that your child is with us, we hope to develop all aspects of their character, to help them find respect for themselves, others around them and also their environment.
We aim to aid their awareness and consideration of others irrespective of race, creed or gender.
We aim to assist each child in the understanding of their actions and consequence thereof, the development of their sense of independence and ability to think and solve problems for themselves whilst seeking to make learning through discovery fun and enrich their lives through creativity.
The Nursery also aims to offer a high quality of service and care.
